Italy: forecasted outbound tourists by geographical area 2020

During 2020, it is forecasted that most outbound tourists will visit countries of the Mediterranean area. The research focused on the leading 21 countries by number of tourists and the Mediterranean countries analyzed were France, Spain, Portugal, and Greece. As reported by the research, approximately 14.4 million travelers from Italy are expected to visit these four selected countries in 2020. Conversely, it is forecasted that about 2.79 million Italian travelers will visit Northern European countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, UK, Ireland) in the considered year.
