Cuba: reforested area 2014-2018
In 2018, the reforested area in Cuba amounted to approximately 15.4 thousand hectares, a decrease of more than eleven percent in comparison to the previous year. This figure has been continuously decreasing since 2013. In turn, Cuba's share of forest cover has increased in recent years, reaching 31.5 percent of the country's total land area in 2018.
