Volume of Russian gas transited through Ukraine 2020-2024
On the last day of 2019, the companies Gazprom and Naftogaz signed a five-year contract starting from January 1, 2020, according to which Gazprom would transit a total of 225 billion cubic meters of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine. In the first year, 65 billion cubic meters were to be transited through Ukraine. In the following four years, the annual transit volume was agreed at 40 billion cubic meters.
