Argentina: lithium carbonate production of Livent 2017-2025

In 2018, Livent produced 17 thousand metric tons of lithium carbonate from its brines located in Argentina, up from 15 thousand metric tons a year earlier. The company's production is expected to more than triple by 2025, reaching 60 thousand metric tons per year. Livent, formerly known as FMC Lithium, was a spinoff of FMC Corporation, until 2018, when it began trading independently.
The production of lithium in Argentina amounted to an estimated 6.2 thousand metric tons in 2018.
