Brazil: inpatient mortality due to mental health 2014-2018

In 2018, the inpatient mortality rate due to mental health problems in Brazil amounted to 0.44 percent, down from 0.47 percent the year before. According to a survey carried out in the South American country that same year, 50 percent of respondents stated they had never visited a mental health professional.
