Latin America: public unrest likelihood by country 2020

In a survey carried out between November and December of 2019 by IPSOS, the majority of Colombian and Chilean respondents thought that large scale public protests and riots were likely to happen in their country in 2020, in particular, to protest against the way the government is run. In the other Latin American countries surveyed, more than half of respondents agreed with political turmoil being likely in that year. Many Latin American countries experienced protests during 2019.
