As of mid-June 2020, support for the protesters participating in the ongoing protests in response to the killing of George Floyd was sharply divided by political ideology, with 45 percent of respondents identifying as conservative either strongly or somewhat opposing the protesters. This compares to 86 percent of respondents identifying as liberal who either strongly or somewhat supported the protesters.
