Two of three candidates for the parliamentary election in Denmark in 2022 experienced harassment and/or unwanted inquiries during the election campaign. This was particularly the case among female candidates, of which three out of four experienced harassment or unwanted inquiries. Furthermore, close to one in five female candidates experienced some form of sexual harassment during the campaign.
