Average milk yield per cow in the Benelux 2019, by country

Cows in the Netherlands had the highest average yield of the three Benelux countries in 2019, at nearly 8,900 kilos. By comparison, in 2019 the average cow in Luxembourg produced roughly 7,800 kilos of milk.

In the last two decades, the average yield of cows in the Benelux increased in each country. Although Belgium had a lower average yield per cow in 2019 than the Netherlands, Belgium's average yield grew most between 2000 and 2019.
