Fuel efficiency of domestic electric cars in South Korea 2019
The Hyundai Ioniq was by far the most fuel-efficient electric car from South Korean automakers in 2019, with the ability to drive 6.3 kilometers per kWh. In second place was the Hyundai Kona with a low-capacity battery (39.2 kWh, compared to the 64 kWh standard battery). Likewise, the Kia Soul and Niro electric vehicles also had superior fuel efficiencies with the low-capacity battery versions.
