Share of European Union tourists who visited Romania 2022, by country
More than 50 percent of foreign tourists from EU countries who visited Romania in 2022 came from neighboring countries: Bulgaria and Hungary. In turn, 9.2 percent of foreign tourists came from Italy and 8.6 percent from Germany.
