Volume of monthly retail imports into the United States from 2018 to 2020

Ports in the United States received 1.82 million Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEU) in retail imports in January 2020. This figure was 1.89 million TEUs in January 2019. U.S. retail imports were forecast to drop in February and March of 2020 as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic.
