Leading ways mobile phones were used while driving in Australia 2020
In 2020, in a survey on phone use while driving in Australia, 12.2 percent of respondents admitted to checking their phone while stopped at a traffic light. The other top activities conducted on mobile phones while driving were changing a song on a playlist or reading/replying to a text message. 73.2 percent of the respondents indicated that they did not use their phone while driving.
