The percentage of respondents in Russia who wanted their children or grandchildren to go to a university abroad correlated with the participants' age as of 2019. Over half of the younger population between 18 and 24 years old positively answered the question, while the share of those who would not want their descendants to receive higher education outside of the country was recorded at 36 percent, which was the smallest share among other age categories. One percent of those aged 60 and older already had children or grandchildren enrolled in international universities.
