As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, travel plans all across the globe have been disrupted. As of April 19, 2020, the excitement level of travelers in the United States towards taking a weekend getaway in the next month remained low. On a scale of one to 10, one being "not at all excited" and 10 being "extremely excited", travelers had a 4.5 average level of excitement over taking a weekend getaway as of April 19, 2020. This was higher than the average level of excitement expressed by travelers from the week before.
