Colombia: crude oil export value 2018-2020, by month

Colombian exports of crude oil and its products amounted to approximately 384 million U.S. dollars in April 2020, a decrease of more than 68 percent in comparison to the first month of the year. That was also the lowest figure reported in the period since January 2018. International demand for crude oil collapsed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading oil prices to plummet in the first months of 2020. Since May, Colombian crude oil exports have continuously increased, reaching 817 million dollars by August.
