This statistic displays the volume of crude oil imports into the European Union (EU-28) from 2015 to 2018, by region. By far the majority of crude oil imports came from the FSU (former Soviet Union) region each year, with a total of 1.64 billion barrels of crude oil imported into the European Union in 2016. Imports from FCU fell slightly in 2018 to 1.48 billion barrels. Imports from the Americas were the lowest each year.
