The coronavirus pandemic and the following lockdown in Denmark seemed to have an impact on app consumption in the country. According to Airnow, the number of daily active users of the Twitch app on iOS and Android devices in Denmark exceeded 17 thousand in October 2020. This was the highest amount of DAU of the online video app specializing on gaming and eSports in the past year. Additionally, it was a significant growth of roughly one thousand compared to the previous month.
