Support for city measures to address the George Floyd protests U.S. June 2020
Despite the backlash against the suggestion, as of mid-June 2020, 45 percent of U.S. adults surveyed either strongly or somewhat supported calling the military to assist police in dealing with the protests sparked by the death of George Floyd. Curfews were the most highly supported measure amongst respondents, with 71 percent either strongly or somewhat supporting them.
