As of mid-June 2020, age was a factor in the level of support for the police during the ongoing protests in response to the killing of George Floyd, with 32 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 34 years either strongly or somewhat supporting the police. This compares to 60 percent of respondents aged 65 years or older who strongly or somewhat support the police.
