Change in domestic and international overnight stays on French coasts in summer 2019
In 2019, domestic and international tourism on the French coasts varied depending on the coastline. The Norman and North coasts recorded the best progression in terms of overnight stays spent by domestic and international tourists between 2018 and 2019. Furthermore, international tourism to the Breton coastline decreased by 3.6 percent, when the domestic overnight stays grew by 6.5 percent over the same period.
