Breakdown of the population of Australia 2019 by birth region

As of June 2019 there were 18,580,770 residents of Australia who were born in the Oceania and Antarctica region. Oceania and Antarctica, which includes residents born in Australia, ranked first on the list of top ten populations in Australia by major region. North-West Europe was the second most common birthplace of Australian residents. This is unsurprising given that people born in England make up Australia's largest migrant group.
