Monthly international arrivals in Australia 2019-2020 by visa group

In April 2020, the number of international arrivals in Australia plummeted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with only 30 people entering the country on student visas in that month. In the previous year, international arrivals fluctuated seasonally and would typically peak in the summer months, as well as a smaller rise in July.
