Bridge or euchre is a widely-known card game in which the ultimate goal is to score 10 points from winning the most number of tricks in five rounds. Tricks can be won by dealing the highest card of the suit without playing a trump. If the trump has been played, then the highest trump card wins the trick. As with all games, players typically need elements of both skill and luck. However, some games are known for needing more skill than others. In a 2020 survey conducted by YouGov, 36 percent of respondents in the United States stated that bridge or euchre was a game of skill rather than luck. In contrast, nine percent of respondents believed that bridge or euchre was a game of luck.
