Employment in the informal sector in Angola 2021, by age

Over 80 percent of the employed population in Angola were in the informal sector as of the third quarter of 2021. That meant around 8.6 million people, out of 10.7 million that were employed in the same period. Informal employment was higher among Angolans aged 15-24 years and 65 years or older - reaching over 90 percent.
