Founded in 1900 by Charles Somers as the Cleveland Lake Shores, the Cleveland Guardians is a professional baseball team that competes in Major League Baseball and is currently owned by Larry Dolan. The team has won two World Series, 10 Central Division titles, and six American League pennants. During a July 2020 survey in the United States, six percent of respondents had a very favorable opinion of the team.
