Post COVID-19 frequency of U.S. adults attending indoor events 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic that spread across the world in 2020 was not only a big threat to public health, but also to many industries such as live music and sports. After the pandemic, many individuals may attend different indoor activities more frequently in an attempt to regain a sense of normality, while some may choose to stay away from large gatherings in public for the foreseeable future. During an October 2020 survey in the United States, around 22 percent of respondents stated that they would be attending indoor sporting events or concerts more frequently after the pandemic.
