Live shows: attendance in France 2018

Over the past 50 years, show attendance has slowly but surely increased among the French population. While a third of respondents claimed to have attended a live show in 1973, that number increased by ten percent and reached 43 percent of respondents in 2018.

By adding world music, traditional music, RnB, electronic music, techno, hip-hop, rap, metal, hard rock and opera concerts, this practice rate would reach 49% in 2018, i.e. 6 additional points. The socio-demographic structure of audiences, with or without these additional terms and conditions remain essentially the same."
