BP's oil refinery capacity 2011-2022
British oil supermajor BP had an oil refinery capacity of 1.64 million barrels per day in 2022. In the period of consideration, BP sold interests in refineries and reduced its daily capacity by one million barrels per day. As of December 2022, the company held a 100 percent interest in six refineries in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain. BP's total refinery throughput amounted to around 1.5 million barrels per day that year.
