Major League Baseball (MLB) is a professional baseball league in North America made up of 30 teams that compete in the American League and the National League. While 38 percent of MLB fans identified as Democrats, this figure varies significantly between fans of individual teams. Approximately 42 percent of New York Mets supporters were Democrats, while this figure stood at 31 percent for fans of the Texas Rangers.
