Leading hospitals across India FY 2019, by share of net margin
In fiscal year 2019, HCG hospitals had the highest share of net margin of nearly seven percent. Apollo hospitals followed with a net margin of over two percent. In comparison, most of the other other hospitals generated high revenues while net margins were significantly lower. This could be attributed to the fact that hospitals are capital intensive that require high input while the operational margins are very low.
