Volume of warehouse space in Germany by city 2019
Germany's logistics property market was centered around the Ruhr region in 2019, with over five million square meters of warehousing. This is not necessarily a surprise, as the region includes all towns and districts in the
surrounding area, like Duisburg, Wesel, Hamm and Hagen. A city like Bremen can house companies with their own logistics facilities, such as Mercedes-Benz. The source seems to hint, however, that these premises are not included in the figures.
