Take-up rate for warehouses in the logistics market in Germany 2014-2022
The annual take-up rate for warehouses over 5,000 square meters in the occupier logistics market in German cities declined in 2022. Nevertheless, there was a major increase in take-up in Berlin. Approximately 880,000 square meters of warehouse space was newly let, pre-let, sold, or pre-sold in 2022 - up from 400,000 square meters the year before. Across Europe, the markets with the most take-up were Birmingham, Madrid, and Greater Paris.
