The share of retail real estate investments in Germany varied greatly among property types in the first half of 2021 and the first half of 2022. Discount stores/supermarkets had the largest share of retail real estate investment of 59.4 percent. The shares of the different property types in retail real estate investments in Germany were relatively consistent between 2021 and 2022.
