Brazil: people afraid of getting infected with the coronavirus 2020

In the months following the first COVID-19 death reported in Brazil, the fear of getting infected with the coronavirus increased in the country. According to a survey, as of June 2020, nearly half of Brazilian respondents were very afraid of getting infected, up from 36 percent in March. At that point in time, three percent of people surveyed had already been infected with the coronavirus.
