COVID-19 in Brazil: fear of infection 2021

As of May 2021, more than eight out of ten Brazilians were afraid of getting infected with COVID-19, according to a survey. Nearly half of Brazilian respondents were very afraid of getting infected, up from 36 percent in March of the previous year. At that point in time, three percent of people surveyed had already been infected with the coronavirus.
