English language proficiency index for selected cities in the CIS 2022

Moscow scored 550 out of 800 points in the English Proficiency Index 2022, indicating the highest result among major cities in the CIS region. Saint Petersburg, and Kyiv followed with the score of 542, and 541 points, respectively. The lowest index score was recorded in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, where an average respondent received 445 index points, referring to the CEFR level B1.
