According to a survey in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region on the Arab youth in 2020, 70 percent of female Arab youth respondents in the region believed that men and women had equal access to quality education.

The survey question was as follows:
"Which of the following is closer to your opinion? In my country getting quality education.."

The study was conducted in in two parts:
The first part was The Main Survey conducted in 17 countries between January 19 and March 3 2020 before the coronavirus outbreak with a count of 3,400 face-to face interviews, Covered countries were Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen.
Syria and Sudan were recently added to the latest year's version of the survey in 2020. Each country had 200 respondent. Margin of error for this survey was +/-1.7 percent.
The second COVID-19 Pulse Survey between August 18 and 26, 2020 following the COVID-19 crisis with a count of 600 face-to-face and online interviews divided equally between six countries: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Algeria, and Egypt. Margin of error for this survey was +/-4.0 percent.
All respondents were exclusively citizens of their countries and they were 50% male and female.
