Women's opinions on men being family breadwinners in Finland 1998-2017 This statistic displays the results of a survey conducted in Finland in selected years from 1998 to 2017 on women's opinions on men having the primary responsibility of providing for the family. Throughout the survey period, the share of respondents strongly disagreeing with men being the breadwinners of the family increased, amounting to over half of the respondents in 2017. In the same year, merely four percent strongly agreed with the statement.
