Colombia: textile & apparel share of the manufacturing sector's GDP 2018-2019
The contribution of the textile and clothing manufacturing industry to the gross domestic product (GDP) of the Colombian industrial sector showed an increase grew between 2018 and 2019 by more than one percentage point. In the latter year, this industry accounted for 9.4 percent of the manufacturing sector's GDP in the Latin American country. A year before, the gross revenue of apparel manufactures and retailers in Colombia amounted to 21.31 trillion Colombian pesos.
