In 2022, around 12.8 percent of the crude oil imported by Spain came from Nigeria, making it Spain's main petroleum seller that year. Ranking second was the United States, accounting for 10.4 percent, followed by Mexico, with a 9.6 percent share of the Spanish crude oil imports in 2022.
