Approximately one half of Russians in all age groups were interested in the topic of healthy eating habits, according to a survey from October 2020. Roughly one-third of respondents in each age cluster also followed a diet or refused consumption of certain products. Younger generations were more likely to closely monitor their calorie intake and daily consumption of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.
