According to a survey conducted among over 600 private bankers, wealth advisors and family offices representatives worldwide, approximately one in five ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) worldwide made a new home purchase in 2022. In Australasia, the share of new luxury home buyers stood at 25 percent. The average UHNWI owned 3.7 residential properties in that year, but in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe this figure was higher.
