Value of tobacco imports into Morocco 2019, by country of origin
Most of the tobacco imported into Morocco in 2019 came from Switzerland, reaching a value of 80.8 million Canadian dollars (CAD), roughly 66.32 million U.S. dollars. Turkey and Serbia followed, each with tobacco exports into Morocco amounting to 47.2 million CAD (around 38.7 million U.S. dollars) and 11.9 million CAD, (9.8 million U.S. dollars). Moreover, Malawi was the leading Moroccan supplier of tobacco in Africa, exporting three thousand CAD (2.5 thousand U.S. dollars) of the product into Morocco in the said year.
