
Breakdown of online grocery sales in Italy 2020-2021, by category
In Italy, the online spending on grocery products showed some changes between the first three months of 2020 and the same period of 2021. In terms of product categories, portioned fresh food products underwent the most significant increase. They made up 14.1 percent of online grocery sales between January and March 2020 and grew to 16.5 percent of the online sales one year later.
