New mini passenger car export volume from Japan 2014-2023
In 2023, motor vehicle manufacturers in Japan exported approximately 26.31 thousand new mini passenger cars (kei cars), decreasing from about 54.87 thousand in the previous year. Japanese mini cars are light motor vehicles whose engine displacement does not exceed 0.66 liters, measuring at most 3.4 meters in length, two meters in height, and 1.48 meters in width.
