New mini passenger car export volume from Japan 2013-2022
In 2022, motor vehicle manufacturers in Japan exported approximately 54.9 thousand new mini passenger cars (kei cars), decreasing from about 64.4 thousand in the previous year. Japanese mini cars are light motor vehicles whose engine displacement does not exceed 0.66 liters, measuring at most 3.4 meters in length, two meters in height, and 1.48 meters in width.
