Value of IPO proceeds on SIX Swiss Exchange 2016-2021

The value of proceeds of initial public offerings (IPOs) on SIX Swiss Exchange fluctuated significantly between 2016 and 2021. In 2017, a peak value of approximately 4.1 billion euros was reached. The value of proceeds declined to 2.9 billion euros in 2018, and again to 2.7 billion euros in 2019. In 2020 the value of proceeds of IPOs declined steeply, reaching approximately 108 million euros - a decrease of about 2.6 billion euros from the previous year. In 2021, the value of IPOs increased and recovered to 2.1 billion euros in SIX Swiss Exchange.
