In financial year 2023, there were over three billion NETC transactions worth about 500 billion Indian rupees across India. The value of transactions was estimated to rise up to over 1.6 trillion Indian rupees in financial year 2028 in the country. The National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) system was used at over 1,050 toll stations on national highways.
