E-commerce obstacles faced in Africa 2020
Based on an online survey carried out between June and July 2020, 52 percent of the African businesses that took part in the study considered internet connection as their major obstacle to improving revenue from e-commerce. Moreover, some 42 percent reported that payment gateway constrained e-commerce, while 39 percent claimed that logistical problems were the barrier to their integration into the online market.
