Book reading rate of children and teens in China 2019-2021, by age group

In 2021, the booking reading rate of Chinese children and adolescents reached 83.9 percent on average, of which those aged nine to thirteen years made books their best friends with a 99 percent rate of reading within the cohort. Overall, Chinese kids and teens read an average of 10.93 books in 2021.
