This statistic displays the results of a survey on how French people do get the books they read in 2019. It appears that most of readers in France usually bought a new book. However, it appears that they were 33 percent to have purchased second-hand books.

When it comes to buying books, it seems that French people are turning less and less to bookstores. Thus, a majority of people in France purchase their books in large stores specialized in cultural products.
